AMANDA, PETER, TAYLOR, KYLE and SYDNEY:
It seems that, everywhere Peter and Amanda go, Taylor is there to mingle with Peter. At one such occasion, Taylor wears a necklace that reminds Peter of something. But, he can not quite place it.
Amanda is discouraging Peter from remembering anything telling him that she does not trust Taylor. But, this only irritates Peter who tells Amanda that he can take care of himself. Depsite this, Amanda seems to become more and more irritated every time she sees Taylor anywhere near Peter. At one point, Amanda pushes Peter into the pool after he walks through the entracne to Melrose Place with Kyle and Taylor.
And, Kyle barely notices this rivalry. Syd is keeping him preoccupied with her pitch to purchase one of Sam's paintings for his restaurant. Of course, Syd never actually mentions Sam's name. As far as Kyle knows, the painting is the work of a Russian male immigrant.
When Syd tells Sam of this ruse, she is not too happy about it. But, Syd smooths out this rough edge by telling Sam it is a plot to keep her name secret until she attains fame and fortune as an artist.
