HISTORY OF THE PLACEMAN REPORT

I've been watching "Melrose Place" on Fox since the last episodes of the first season. During the second season, I began writing comprehensive summaries of each episode of the show covering each plot point with enough detail to insure anyone missing the show can catch up completely before the next episode airs. These recaps became known as THE PACEMAN REPORT. The name PACEMAN reflected my love for the fast pacing of this prime time soap.

During the second season of "Melrose Place," the format of THE PACEMAN REPORT took shape and became something readers could count on week after week. During the third season of the show, two more changes were incorporated into the PACEMAN REPORT to make it the publication it is today.

The first change was the consistent organization of the report by story line with each section identified by the characters involved. The second modification was a change in the name of the publication to THE PLACEMAN REPORT, a name everyone could identify with no matter how long they had been reading the report.

Since I began writing THE PLACEMAN REPORT, I have received E-mail from all over the world, including Australia, England and Germany where "Melrose Place" may be running anywhere from half a season to more than an entire season behind the United States. No one wants to wait to find out what is going to happen on one of the hottest prime time soaps on TV!

I hope you enjoy these summaries!
